Other Federal Student Financial Assistance Programs

Postsecondary schools administer the following federal programs:

  • Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG) – available to full-time Pell-eligible students enrolled in an eligible program. ACG recipients must also have completed a rigorous secondary school program of study.
  • Federal Perkins Loan Program –made through participating schools to students demonstrating financial need. For more information, contact your school’s financial aid office.

To apply for these programs, you must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
