MDHE's Client Service Representatives
Do you need personalized assistance from the Missouri Department of Higher Education?
The MDHE has four staff working in the field and available to help you!
Our client service representatives work daily to build relationships within Missouri's student financial aid community. They log in the miles and cover the state - from the bootheel to the Iowa border and all points in between - to provide support and technical assistance on financial aid topics such as student grants, scholarships, and federal student loan programs.
Services offered by the client services staff include:

Personalized assistance for the financial aid office, including training and assistance with processing issues or policy questions. The MDHE's client service representatives are knowledgeable about state aid and the FAMOUS system, as well as student loans, ATOM processes, and the MODEL Direct system.

Assistance for high school counselors. MDHE client service representatives can assist with financial aid night presentations, college fairs, and other events and services for students and parents. Check out the MDHE's speaker's bureau for a list of potential topics on which client service representatives and other staff may speak.

Susan Eye
Student Assistance Associate/Client Service Representative
Susan Eye has worked in the student financial aid field for the past 10 years providing customer service to students, parents, high school counselors, and financial aid office administrators. Susan currently holds the position as Student Assistance Associate/Client Service Representative for the St. Louis area.

Southern Territory

Michelle Cohen
Client Service Representative
Michelle Cohen began her career in financial aid in 2005 as a Client Manager within the MDHE's school and lender services area and later moved to serving as the Client Representative for the southern territory. While in her current position, Michelle has developed and maintained countless relations within Missouri's financial aid and high school counselor communities.

Northern & Northeastern Territory

Kim Foley
Client Service Representative
Kim Foley has over 11 years of experience in the field of financial aid working in positions such as a financial aid counselor and scholarship/work-study coordinator. Kim's duties as the Northern & Northeastern Client Service Representative include providing assistance to schools and conducting outreach activities.

Chris Hager
Client Service Representative
Returning to the MDHE in April 2009, Chris has more than 12 years experience in the student loan industry, including a stint at the MDHE during 2005-2006.
